Choreography design and movement modes are represented in this drawing.
The script for the dance is a dance drama for two players. The female is wearing mask. Music for this production is a composition by composer Tod Machover of Boston, Massachusetts. The piece selected from his repetoire is entitled "Dadaji in Paradise" for solo cello. This work was performed on stage at the American Center in Paris, France during the Festival d'Automne, 1980. The poetic dialogue between Judith and Apollo provides the text titled "Judith of the Cups" by Letitia Eldredge. Choreography instruction and dance performance were by Powell Shepherd. The mask worn in this dance was "Merida" and can be seen in the photograph by David Stark, "The Four Graces". His photography is of a performance moment in the Louvre Gardens where the dancer poses with the bronze sculpture, "Three Graces" by Aristide Mailliol altering the dimensions of both artists. Letitia Eldredge live art becomes a still sculpture, where Maillol's Sculpture becomes a dance art on the stage.
